Beautiful 40 Year old, Multi-Line Moderate dress manufacturer, they sell to companies like Jc Penny, Marshalls, Tjmax and they are based in Midtown Manhattan. Company is looking for a full time Assistant Controller
Responsibilities and Duties:
Factoring knowledge helpful
· Directly responsible for monthly journal entries and closing.
· Conduct Monthly bank, factor reconciliations and balance sheets.
· Year end closings
· Invoice approvals
· Commercial rent & sales tax
· Point person / Communication with outside auditors
· Review and maintain Commercial, Medical & Dental insurance annual renewals.
· Maintain perpetual files
· Prepare and process wire payments.
· Credit card approvals
· Helpful Peachtree software experience.
· Proficient with MS OFFICE (Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Qualifications and Skills
Applicant must have 10+ Years Experience in Apparel Industry & Software
