Soft Wovens Pattern Maker with Gerber experience and a background in luxury fashion. Senior level is preferred, although we would consider a strong 10 + years candidate accustomed to the level of accuracy and precision required for luxury fashion.A high end designer is looking for a 1st Patternmaker Draper to work on day/evening wear. The 1st Patternmaker will support the VP of Design to work in the Celebrity services Atelier team. This is a small team consist of Associate Designer, Drapers, Seamstress and the Patternmaker. The Patternmaker is responsible for creating patterns for Celebrity from design specifications. Reports to the VP of Design in Women's Collection Evening & Celebrity Services. Oversees tailors and sewers. Creates patterns by hand or using Gerber systems. Respond to pattern needs for special events, celebrities, and other special requests. Must be responsive to design’s needs. Meet seasonal objectives for patterns. Excellent in garment fit and execution. Ability to work with luxury and innovative fabrics.
