We are seeking an exceptional Senior Women’s Junior Apparel Designer to lead the design and development of our growing junior apparel business.

You must have relationships with TJ Maxx

Responsibilities

Design trend-right collections for women’s junior apparel.
Create styles that appeal to off-price retailers including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Burlington, and similar accounts.
Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes.
Develop complete seasonal collections from concept through production.
Work closely with overseas factories and product development teams.
Ensure all designs meet target costs and quality standards.
Collaborate with sales and merchandising to create commercially successful collections.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing women’s junior apparel.
Proven success designing products sold through major off-price or department store retailers.
Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabric sourcing, garment construction, and fit.
Ability to design commercially successful, high-volume collections.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience working with overseas factories is preferred.
