Job Summary:

The Import Coordinator oversees the importation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating with stakeholders. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations, minimizing delays, and optimizing costs in international shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include managing the import process from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with supply chain partners, preparing and reviewing import documentation, tracking shipments, resolving issues, maintaining records, communicating with internal departments, negotiating freight rates, ensuring proper classification and valuation of goods, managing vendor relationships, and handling any other company-specific duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and prior experience in import coordination or logistics. Essential skills include knowledge of international trade regulations, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and any other relevant qualifications or skills.

The candidate must have 5-7 years of experience working for a fashion company in a similar position.

Benefits:

Approximate Salary

70,000.00 -75,000.00Por Year

Working Hours and Location:
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Full-time, on-site at the Manhattan office. No work from home option.
