Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Manhattan
Salary: $52,000 – $60,000
Company Overview:
We is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in managing the flow of goods from overseas production through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication across all partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily data entry and logistics coordination within AIMS system
- Track shipments from China through final delivery to warehouses and customers
- Receive and process packing lists, ensuring accuracy in system entry
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to manage inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, UPCs, and related records
- Oversee EDI transmissions including purchase orders, invoices, ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices), and inventory updates
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control processes
- Generate and manage return authorizations as needed
- Communicate proactively with vendors, customers, and logistics partners to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong working knowledge of EDI, UPC systems, and shipping documentation (BOLs, ASNs, etc.)
- Experience working with freight forwarders and international shipments (China preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong overall computer skills required
- Experience with AIMS or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills

- ENTER EDI ITEM# IN EDI XREFERENCE TABLE
- ABILITY TO READ EDI 860 PO CHANGE TO MAKE CHANGES IN AIMS-ERP
- CONVERSION OF 850 TO READABLE ERP ORDER INFO IF NEEDED
- GXS/INOVIS CATALOGUE EXPERIENCE-ABLE TO ADD MASTER UPC TO GXS TO CREATE PACKS
- USING CHILD UPC COMPONENTS
- PROCESS JCP ECOM EDI ASN SHIPMENTS/UCC LABELS VIA FTY EXCEL SENT
- GENERAL REPORT PRINTING USING ERP SYSTEM:
- Order Reports/Style Invenotry Reports/Edi Recap Reports
- SORT AND FILE EDI ORDERS PER MONTH.
Preferred Experience:
Background working with major retailers (e.g., Walmart, JC Penney, Zulily)
- Familiarity with Apparel Data Solutions (ADS) or similar platforms
