Website Director – Fashion E-Commerce

📍 Corporate HQ – 39th St. & 7th Ave., NYC

On-Site | Full-Time | 5 Days/Week

Founded in 1989, my client has evolved from a single junior product line into a premier fashion house spanning Moderate Sportswear through Designer Contemporary collections. Today, the company is recognized as a leader in women’s fashion, with brands carried by Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Burlington, Costco, Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, and more—generating $100M+ in annual retail sales.

They are seeking a Website Director to spearhead their digital platforms, ensuring the same level of luxury, precision, and innovation online as the brand delivers in stores. This role requires a strong technical command of e-commerce systems combined with a sophisticated creative vision that resonates with global fashion consumers.

Key Responsibilities

Direct all brand websites and online stores (Shopify + designer collection platforms).
Lead the end-to-end e-commerce strategy: site design, UX/UI optimization, digital merchandising, and online brand storytelling.
Partner with developers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters to produce visually compelling,-standard content.
Manage and upload product catalogs, lookbooks, and digital campaigns with flawless accuracy.
Create and optimize landing pages and microsites to drive engagement and sales.
Collaborate with leadership to translate fashion brand identity into digital experiences that elevate customer journeys.

Preferred Expertise

5+ years of digital leadership in luxury fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
Proven success with Shopify Plus and e-commerce ecosystems.
Strong background in UX/UI design, digital marketing integrations, and SEO strategy.
Ability to balance technical precision with aesthetic excellence.
Track record of scaling online sales and brand presence in competitive markets.
