Major Ladies Outerwear manufacturer looking for a Production Coordinator. Our Client is located midtown Manhattan their product categories are Jackets, Coats, Woven to polyester. They Manufacture in China, Indonesia and Vietnam and sell to JCPenney, Walmart, Costco, Tj max etc.
Production Coordinator
Outerwear experience is a plus.
Key responsibilities:
3-5 years of experience
must have knowledge in following accounts and accessing account platform: all Costco regions, JCP, BJ’s, Walmart, Coldwater Creek, and other private brand accounts etc
*general shipping/packing knowledge for following accounts a plus: Marmaxx, Burlington, Ross Stores, Winners, Hudson’s Bay, major dept stores
*care label/garment fiber content knowledge for outerwear woven fabrics a plus
*lab testing/inspection follow up with third party companies such as SGS, MTS, ITS
*factory compliance/social audit knowledge a plus
*booking/shipping experience with forwarders, knowledge of shipping terms and calculating delivery Leadtime for onetime delivery
*working closely with sales team to relay any discretions regards to production process on a timely manner
*bilingual Korean or Chinese a plus
